Users need to both power and provide the control signal(0-5V,0-10V,
4-20 milliamp or RS 232)
to the device. Many users have a 24V power supply in which they want
to provide power. In that
case, then the DC-61 or the DC-251 should be the choice. For the end
user using FlowVision Software, the MD8DB9 cable is best. This cable
has the RS-232 connector to connect to the users
computer. A Power Supply cable would be needed with the MD8DB9.
DC-61: The
8-pin circular mini-din connector cable is 6. long and has 1 male
mating connector. The opposite end is blunt cut with color-coded
wires.
DC-6RT: This
is a right angle, 8-pin circular mini-din connector cable at 6. long
with 1 male mating connector. The opposite end is blunt cut with
color-coded wires. This cable is typically used when overall device
height is critical.
DC-251: This
8-pin circular mini-din connector cable is 25. long and has 1 male
mating connector. The opposite end is blunt cut with color-coded
wires.
DC-62: The
8-pin circular mini-din connector cable is also 6. in length, but is
provided with a male mating connector on both ends. It is a straight
pin-to-pin cable. This cable is typically used with the LSPM or the
BB9 accessories.
MD8DB9: This
is a male 8-pin circular din to female DB9 adaptor cable. It is 6’
feet in length and is typically used to simplify connection direct
to a PC.
IC-10: This
is a 6-pin industrial style locking cable that is 10" in length and
has 1 male mating connector. The opposite end is blunt cut with
color-coded wires. This cable reduces available analog output
signals to one parameter. This option is useful for industrial
installations in which the cable must be securely connected to the
device.
